Liewenthal Electronics is an engineering and R&D company established in 1990. We focus on electronics and software development, mainly in the fields of industrial control, telecommunication, home electronics and hi-fi entertainment. While located in Tallinn, Estonia ourselves, we have partners and customers from all over the world.

Our staff consists of more than 30 highly skilled software and hardware engineers with graduate degrees, among them two Ph.D. holders.

Liewenthal mainly focuses on developing turnkey embedded solutions for customers that wish to outsource the entire development process. We aim to deliver systems that are ready for mass production upon release. Liewenthal's expertise portfolio includes microprocessor and programmable logic device (CPLDs, FPGAs) applications, embedded Linux deployment and PC applications.

As Liewenthal operates in one of most rapidly evolving fields of today's industry then it is important to be open to new ideas and technologies in order to stay competitive. Therefore we are always eager to learn and participate in projects that include latest cutting-edge innovations, instead of limiting ourselves with a set of legacy tools and technologies.

Liewenthal is looking for partners that, like us, appreciate long-term work relationships. Our current partners are mainly Scandinavian IT, telecommunication and hi-fi companies. They value Liewenthal's flexible attitude and high levels of confidentiality.

Quality Policy

Delivering quality software and hardware that meets the customers specifications is Liewenthal's main goal.

For that Liewenthal has an established a Quality Management System (QMS) that has been certified to be in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 standards by Det Norske Veritas since 2001.

Liewenthal's Quality Management System's main keypoints are:

  • continuous workforce education and training;
  • every employee's responsibility for his own work;
  • finishing the projects in time and in budget;
  • working in correspondence with Quality Management System's procedures, instructions and methods;
  • the customer's satisfaction as the utmost goal;
